La Redoute is a leading French e-retailer in fashion and home decoration. The brand has a strong international presence, including in the UK, Switzerland, Belgium, Russia, Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Poland. Their aim was to increase revenue per visitor. They noticed that consumer behavior varied a lot based on the country.

In Portugal, visitors had a smaller AOV than in France, and bought less frequently. Based on these insights, they decided to test a free shipping incentive, to see if it would positively affect AOV, and potentially revenue per visitor.
